December 10th, 2006 If you’re crappy band is going to do a cover of a good song then make sure it’s an improved version. When terrible groups like the Black Eyed Peas update a classic song like, “Misirlou” (a.k.a. the Pulp Fiction theme) there’s really nothing to do but retire the song since it just got musically raped. The song becomes unbearable to listen to, even in its original form and you almost wish you had never heard the song in the first place. But the Black Eyed Peas are lucky in the sense that none of their songs could ever get the music brutality that they’ve inflicted on all of us because well there songs are shit to begin with.
